Summertime

The weather is getting warmer. The mornings a little bluer. My days a little brighter. Spring is in the air and nothing is better than waking up to birds chirping. This is my favorite time of year. Well, the days that aren't miserably windy, unbearably disgusting, or depressing that is.

All in all I love spring. And summer.

The Lumineers are my band of the moment. "Flowers in Her Hair" is really the first ever song that I wish was longer. I mean seriously, this song is just too good to be this short. Yet again, maybe that's good. Maybe the length of the song gives the originality and perfection that it has. This band is just totally life. Warm wind blowing through your hair and the sun high in the sky.

I need summer to be here. Like now. Life is getting slightly unbearable. The days where shorts are acceptable and waking up at six is a rarity sound like heaven right now. I miss the sunglasses, the sandals, and the warm winds. I mean seriously. Now the wind is horrible and cold.

"For, through the twilight sounds of crickets and sighing trees, a faint, surprising wisp of music came floating to them and all three turned toward it, toward the wood." -Natalie Babbit Tuck Everlasting
